saini capitello table stools Designed by Rajiv Saini
Conceived as accompaniments to some of the larger pieces of furniture, this
range of end tables/stools are all inspired by the myriad shapes of stone
pillars found in traditional temple architecture. A humorous take on the
heavy solid stone temple columns, based on the cardinal directions, these
end tables/stools are designed in lightweight moulded plastic, meant to be
easily moved around, with little regard to the cardinal directions!
Designed by Rajiv Saini for Moroso. Rajiv Saini is a Mumbai-based,
self-taught architect/designer. Set up in 1995, Rajiv Saini's studio
has successfully completed a wide spectrum of projects, such as Devigarh
Hotel, Udaipur (which won several international design awards such as the
Conde-Nast Best Design Hotel), the Marriott Hotel (Goa), resto-bars like
Senso (New Delhi), Rain and Velvet (Mumbai), Carma fashion store (New
Delhi) and several high-end homes spread across the country and overseas
in places like Thailand, Dubai, the U.S. and Europe.
Side table/stool made from rotomolded linear polyethylene.
Suitable for outdoor use.
Available in off white, black ivy and lacquer (tomato) red.
